Private Jet Charter in Brazil
The sheer scale of Brazil – it is the fifth largest country in the world and spans four time zones – and its wild and varying geography, mean that for many Brazilians air transportation is the quickest and most sensible way to travel for both business and leisure.
The growing economic stature of Brazil, which is the largest economy in Latin America as well as being the seventh largest economy globally, has created a new generation of wealth in the country which is driving the country forward as a dynamic, outward looking nation, with significant exports, and a growing consumer base at home with increasing disposable income.
It follows, of course, that Brazil is already a big player in the aviation markets, aircraft being one of their larger exports (Embraer is based in Sao Paolo). Given its size, growing wealth, and historical associations with aircraft production and exports, then, it is understandable that the private aviation sector is also growing, and many expect to see the Brazilian presence in the market substantially increase over the coming years. The size of Brazil’s private aircraft fleet is already second only to the US.
We already see a good number of private jet charter requests originating in Brazil, both internationally and domestically, and the trend looks set to continue. The World Cup in 2014 saw a spike in investment in critical infrastructure such as improved facilities and updates to existing airports as well as the construction of several new terminals in Sao Paolo, Brasilia, and Fortaleza, in the north east of the country.
