Miami International Boat Show and New York Fashion Week
It’s a big week Stateside over the next seven days, with two headline international events taking place – New York Fashion Week and the Miami International Boat show.
New York Fashion week is one of the leading events in the fashion calendar, not just for the fashion industry itself but for the city as a whole, with some estimating that the week long extravaganza brings in close to $900m to the local economy. It’s a huge business, and aside from the incredible financial benefits, New York is always happy to warmly embrace the glamorous international set that descend upon their public spaces, museums, bars and restaurants for a round robin of gala events, catwalks and parties.
Further south, far from the cold of New York, a different set of international individuals are gathering for the Miami International Boat Show, one of the principal yacht and boat shows of the year. The US accounts for approximately half of the global demand for the nautical products and services which are principally marketed at this event, and so it is inevitable that along with the major US manufacturers, other global superbrands such as Sunseeker and Pershing all make the journey to show off their latest and most beautiful designs.
Both events attract a very well heeled and international clientele, and the fashion and yachting industries are both intrinsically linked to the world of private aviation. If you are looking to charter a private jet to either of these US events, please contact us to see how Villiers Jets can help.
